Butterbean

The brief

Butterbean approached us to work with them in creating an inspiring and informative website aimed at pregnant women and new parents. They wanted us to utilise their existing logo and colour palette, giving a warm and inviting feel to the design. They were needing a members login area where additional support could be accessed as part of the services Butterbean offer, with the hope of increasing its subscribers whilst remaining simple and affordable to all.

The result

The resulting design mixes panels of warm toned solid colours and tints, plus the use of the Butterbean logo shape adds soft highlighted shapes and interesting background areas. Adding in a dark blue for headings and icons creates a contrast with the more natural colours. We have used a simple text style to keep the information easily legible and have added a modern hand written font to soften the look and highlight particular words in the headings.

We created a balance between showing Butterbean to be a professional and trusted company, whilst remaining approachable to the target audience looking for help and advice at such an important time in their lives. An easy to use members subscription area was added, with the facility to access the helpline and advice sessions led by industry experts. With testimonials and instagram links, this design has the looks and feel to appeal to all visiting the website.
