Jessica Lauren Cakes goes live

Jessica Lauren Cakes website went live in time for The National Wedding Show.

Jessica Edwards, a local young cake maker asked me to design and build her a website from scratch in time for The National Wedding Show on 21st February 2014. With only 3 weeks to turn the site around - from concepts to the site going live - it was just the sort of challenge we love!

Working with jessica's cake pictures ade us hungry for cake and there were definitely a few more cups of tea drunk than usual! The site went live a few days before the exhibition, giving Jessica time to amend a few words and get a couple of news articles in.

The site needed to retain the Jessica Lauren Cakes brand which included a pale green and bright pink logo. We ustilised these colours and combined them with brown and grey to give the site a clean but delicious impression.
