LNWH Charity

The brief

London North West Healthcare Charity support NHS staff, patients and carers across North West London and beyond. They asked us to update their logo and create a website that would stand out in the competitive charity sector. The LNWH Charity relies on the  incredible generosity of their supporters and local community to enable the funding of both big and small projects.

The result

Working with the LNWH Charity we developed a palette of a warm purple and turquoise green that represented the medical aspect of the charity, whilst emphasising the support and fundraising nature of the charity rather than it being overly clinical. Selective use of red and dark blue give a contrast and allow information to be highlighted across the website. The use of icons and a ‘linking thread’ graphic allow the information to flow across the sections.

We have used lots of great, colourful images across the website that were provided from many of the events run by the charity, giving a real reflection of the diversity of support they provide. The website gives the LNWH Charity a platform to promote their events, news and updates, whilst encouraging donations and fundraising  to allow their valuable work to continue. The font allows clear communication of information, but by using lowercase text for the headings it emphasises the care based information being given.
