Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity

Branding Design

The brief

The rebranding of Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity involved a complete rebrand, redesign of their logo, stationery, corporate literature, banners, posters, newsletter, donation tubs and merchandise. We have now also completed the redesign and development of their website and leaflets.

The brief was to give the Charity a fresh image which stood out from their copetitors i.e. other local charities in the Buckinghamshire area. The Hospice cares for people of all ages recovering from life threatening diseases and specialises in palliative care.

The result

The colours we chose were a combination of magenta to stand out, and two greens to represent new growth and life. They are fresh and as far from morbid as possible. The imagery represents childhood and adulthood, male and female life. The 'Circle of Life' as it's now referred to can be used on its own or with the wording to represent the brand.

In the client's words…
“Deciding to change our corporate identity and brand after so many years was a decision that we didn’t take lightly. We had several agencies present and pitch for the work and we felt that Holly Small Design was the right company to work with, and Holly has exceeded all our expectations.

“Holly was easy to work with and kept us on track, displaying a genuine understanding of the complexities of our brief and producing a logo which encompassed all that we asked of her and which was well received by trustees, staff and volunteers alike.

“We are now in a position to move forward and increase our profile with a professional image which is a true reflection of our organisation and its services.
